In reading this week I read 4 chapters of the book 'Wet' on the Reading Eggspress App. I used the read-back function. Something that I learned was that some water birds walk on lily pads and I learned that elephants are the biggest land animal. I passed all of the comprehension tests. I needed to re-read 4 chapters to pass.

On Wednesday Room 6 went to the Waka. When we hopped on the Waka we paddled. The man said some words and when we needed to turn the boats pushed us and when we went to school we had lunch.

 In writing we are learning to write recounts.
Something I did well was using order words.
Something I need to need to work on is finishing my recount with a sentence about how I felt.
