WALT: find and stretch words using our thumbs. We also look for blends, chunks of sounds rhyme and word endings to help us with unknown words. Next Step: attempt unknown words and read on and think about what would make sense.

In swimming I am in the whales group I fout smooth cold and splash. I fout worm chilly and oven Something I did well was arm circles. I am working on backstroke.

On Wednesday Room 6 went to the Waka. When we hopped on the Waka we paddled. The man said some words and when we needed to turn the boats pushed us and when we went to school we had lunch.
In writing we are learning to write recounts.
Something I did well was using order words.
Something I need to need to work on is finishing my recount with a sentence about how I felt.
