Maths Hive

WALT (we have been learning to):  be independent learners who decide what learning tools we will use each day in Maths

In the Maths Hive we are allowed to pick an activity to work on each day (sometimes two).  Miss Northe has chosen the activities - to best help us with our maths learning.

We have to put our buttons on the wall to show what we are working on and then take a screenshot and add it to a Pic Collage, to show evidence of our learning.  We can chose - but we have to do a new activity each day: Sumdog, e-ako, New Zealand Money App, Child Friendly Cards and Miss Northe makes us work with her on a collaborative task too during the week.

The picture shows one of our Pic Collages.

Cubism trip

We went to the mtg to learn more about cubism. Something I really enjoyed was
looking at different types of paintings
Something I would like to know more about is where all those artists live.

Maths Measurement

W.A.L.T    Use  a ruler accurately to draw 2 D shapes.
Something I did well was the ruling.
Something I am working on is what numbers go in the right place.

Our new classroom

I see the builders putting walls on the new classroom
And hammering the walls together.

I hear the a builder using the nail gun
At certain times.

I smell  the sawdust moving through the air when the builders are using the saw.
I Feel sawdust falling upon me.

I taste the fresh air

I think the builders are gonna get tired for very long time.

I do know the builders are going to get it finished

Our new classroom.

WALT use interesting words to describe.
The word I like best in my poem is sawdust moving through the air.
A word I really liked in Leo's poem was kaboom.
